Welcome to South Eastern Radio Control Car Club

Well that's a wrap!

SERCCC Summer Series Is Done And Dusted!

We at SERCCC had a fantastic turn out for most of the 6 race series which began late afternoon to under lights.

Great turn outs in all classes contested through out the series run. In particular the KYOSHO FAZER Class sponsored by METRO HOBBIES. This was down to the wire and all dependent to the last round.

After Round 6 in KYOSHO FAZER CLASS, the lucky final three were ::

1ST    Ryan Vivian
2ND    Jason Shilton
3RD    Jan Jordan

These three received a gift voucher from METRO HOBBIES as their reward in participating in the series. Well Done guys.

Second hotly contested class was 21.5 Sportsman, proudly sponsored by SMOKEM RC. This was a race to catch a very clear front runner by the name of Budge! Even though Jade Miller gave it his very best, the Budge was unstoppable. Even with a dropped round, his dominance showed through. Well  done Andrew.

After Round 6 in the 21.5 Sportsman Class, the lucky final three were ::

1ST    Andrew Budge
2ND    Jade Miller
3RD    Peter Miller

Now this was a surprise class for all the right reasons. Classy looking GT shells, a not too slow or too fast paring of 17.5 motors and ability from some of us pushing the youth factor. Even though some of the drives were pushing close to 13.5 pace!
Proudly sponsored by R.A.B. Hobbies, 17.5 GT was an outstanding showing with drivers from all classes and "age" brackets. Well done guys.

After Round 6 in the 17.5 GT Class, the lucky final three were ::

1ST    Tim Boundy
2ND    Jordan Lowery
3RD     David Whittam

Now for the fast bunch, 13.5 Stock, proudly sponsored by RC MAKER. To say this was exciting to watch was an understatement. Close to some perfect drives and millimeter close races was a highlight for many who attended the series. Tim Boundy again showed how good he is in this, his new class. Dominating all but one round where did not attend. Toby Turner was the closest to challenge Tim for the top position with Brett Marshall being able to hold on to a fantastic third place. Outstanding drive guys.

After Round 6 in the 13.5 Sport Class, the final three were ::

1ST    Tim Boundy
2ND    Toby Turner
3RD    Brett Marshall

Now last but not least, as an added bonus to all GT drivers steering the PITLANE HOBBIES AMGT V2 bodies. These racers had their own points series.
Proudly sponsored by PITLANE HOBBIES the points gained from 17.5 GT class were added to the AMGT 17.5 Class.

This again was a domination by Tim. Who used the AMGT V2 shell in the 17.5 GT class as well. Jordan Lowery was in his element and had a great chase to catch Tim for a well deserved second place with Trevor, after a solid start in the series came home a solid third place.

After Round 6 in the AMGT 17.5 Class, the final three were ::

1ST    Tim Boundy
2ND    Jordan Lowery
3RD    Trevor Waye

All in all and from the fantastic attendance, we'll be doing this again.

We welcomed the support from our series sponsors, who without their support in handing out the prizes for their supported classes, this series would not be possible.

Congrats to all the winners and thank you to all who attended the series through the 6 rounds culminating on the 24/02/2024.

For all who are members and non members of SERCCC on their FBook page. Without the support our commercial sponsors, we would not be able to run the series and offer such great prizes in the end.

SMOKEM RC        21.5 class
RC MAKER         13.5 class
METRO HOBBIES        FAZER class
